happy Mother's Day

Had a wonderful mother's day, woke up late, to drink my coffe and receive my little nice gurumania tags... :) that really made me smile, in disbelif... and look forward to my project even more.

This idea still is a surprise not only for you but also for me because is still developing and I'm not sure how it'll be when is fully acomplished, I can't hardly wait but first... I need some cash :( all right...by June should be ready :)

Some of my favorite fabric designers are Etsuko Furuya, Ana Maria Horner, Alexander Henry, Kaffe Fasset and Momo... it is a delight to get my hands on any of their fabric

I'm soooo in love with color

I think about creating and I say to myself "Now!!! I'll sew a really chic handbag, elegant and classic", but I can't help myself and gotta have fun...doing all different little colourful things with fabric, it's too much fun...

There is also a pile of fabric and merino wool yarn waiting and calling my name for a little while now...

Not enough time...so much work

I've been working every day trying to organize my new project, preparing to support Alex and his PhD plans... seems I don't have enough time or money to do all the ideas, so I steal time from my beautiful, understanding kids, and a little money from the grocery money pot... I really love how things are turning up, many things are a matter of time and patience, I'm waitting on more things that I wish I was... but hopefully by Mother's Day, I'll have all the material I need to really advance on my Gurushka Project...

We had a great weekend, had a little homemade spa session, so refreshing. Also amazing little surprises in the shape of flowers by our cactii...

He estado trabajando diario tratando de organizar mi nuevo proyecto, y preparandome para apoyar a Alex durante su doctorado... parece que nunca hay suficiente tiempo o dinero para llevar a cabo todas las ideas, y termino robandole tiempo a mis hermosos y comprensivos hijitos, y un poco de dinero de los gastos de la casa ... Me encanta como va resultando todo el proyecto y mi trabajo, muchas cosas son cuestion de tiempo y paciencia , estoy esperando más cosas de las que quisiera... pero espero que para el día de la Madre ya tener todo el material que necesito para realmente avanzar en el Proyecto Gurushka...

Tuvimos un rico fin de semana con un improvisado spa casero, super agusto. Tambien pequeñas sorpresas de nuestros cactus 5 florearon...

Definitivamente debo decir que las crisis generan una creatividad masiva que en mi al menos a veces es difícil de canalizar, sin embargo doy gracias de la ebullición interna...de ideas. Aquí un avance de lo que estoy preparando, Que emoción :)

Definitly crisis tends to generate a masive creativity (rain like), at least that's how I work, I'm thankful for the internal boiling of ideas. Here is a pick of what I'm preparing...
